Let's connect and make a difference

Founder
Glenn Winfree is an organizational psychologist, speaker, and learning strategist with a passion for unlocking human potential. With over two decades of experience across corporate, nonprofit, and educational sectors, I help people communicate with clarity, lead with compassion, and show up as their personal best.
As Head of Learning and Performance at Conning Holdings Limited, I design experiences that spark growth—from executive coaching to inclusive leadership development. My journey has taken me from Fortune 100 boardrooms to tuition-free classrooms, including six transformative years as Executive Director of Covenant Preparatory School in Hartford. Prior to that, I led diversity and inclusion strategy at Aetna and managed regional training initiatives at Accenture.
In 2008, I founded Elegant Communication Solutions (ECS), LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to elevating interpersonal communication across industries. Our tagline—“Better Talk, Better Life”—reflects a simple truth: communication is both a powerful lever and a catalyst for transformational change.
I draw from a rich toolkit to help leaders connect across differences and drive meaningful impact:
-
Process Communication Model®: A NASA-endorsed framework for decoding personality and motivation
-
Compassionate Accountability® (Next Element): A model for balancing kindness with boundaries in leadership
-
SYMLOG: A dynamic system for understanding group behavior and interpersonal influence
-
Solution Focus: A strengths-based approach that shifts teams from problem to possibility
Whether I’m working with executives, educators, or emerging professionals, my approach is grounded in empathy, humor, and actionable insight. I hold a Bachelors degrees in Business Economics (Rutgers) and a Masters degree Industrial/Organizational Psychology (University of Hartford), along with certifications in Diversity Management (University of Houston's Bauer College of Business).
I believe communication is teachable—and transformational. It’s the foundation for equity, inclusion, and sustainable leadership.
I’m proud to walk this path alongside my wife Vera, Executive Director of the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, and our son Ellis, a varsity swim coach and entrepreneur building his own lane in the world.
Let’s connect if you’re building something bold, inclusive, and human-centered.
